stud initially became
interested in purchasing Regal as his dam carries very
similar bloodlines to our Crane Trophy 2006 winning mare, Willowcroft Regal Wish. The sire of his dam, Lea Brea
Celebrity, was Wish's half brother, Willowcroft Wizard.
Willowcroft Raffles, now deceased, was not only Wish's dam, but
also Regal's great
granddam
and
granddam of Willowcroft Regal Winter. |

These performance
proven bloodlines have produced
an exceptionally quiet and conformationally correct pony,
and with the impressive movement of a much bigger horse.
This sensational 13.1hh dark brown riding pony stallion will
stand for the first time at public stud in NSW from spring
2007. Chilled and frozen semen
is
available.
He was found in
paddock condition in late April 2007 at a stud dispersal
sale in the lower Hunter Valley following the decision
of his previous owners to concentrate on the breeding of their
appaloosas.
He is presently
being campaigned in NSW in pony dressage and shown in ridden
riding pony and arabian derivative stallion classes. See
results here .

is
very grateful to Pip Cooper of Falcon SportHorses for
her training of Regal. Pip took over his reins in June
2007 and it was her considerable skills as an
accredited NCAS Level 2 Dressage Specialist Coach
Educator that developed the pony's natural talents,
leading to outstanding performances in the dressage
arena and preparing him for success in the showring. |
