Balledor Debut and Balledor Encore had a successful  season of showing in Spring 2006 in NSW.  Balledor Debut followied up on his Champion Arabian Riding Pony gelding at the 2005 Youngstock Show at Hawkesbury, by placing first in his Arabian Riding Pony gelding under 3 years class at the National Stud Horse and Pony Show at SIEC on 4 November 2006.    At Castle Hill Spring Show, Balledor Encore won his yearling colt class and judge Alan Preston awarded him Reserve Champion Arabian Derivative Colt or Stallion.  This is an impressive start for this youngster's showing career.  Both horses will be shown again in Spring 2007.

 

April 2007

Balledor Stud proudly announces the acquisition of Willowcroft Regal Celebrity to stand at public stud in  NSW from spring 2007.  This sensational 13.1hh dark brown riding pony stallion, remarkably like his sire Urubula Regal Promise, is presently being brought into work for his debut in the pony dressage arena and his ridden classes in the show ring.

 

December 2006

Our broodmares have all scanned positive and in 2007 we eagerly anticipate the arrival of foals by Ghaatas, Jackets Bluebird and Pendley Gold Cup.

 

 
November 2006

New acquisition to Balledor stud show team

SHEFFIELD PARK JULIET is 13.11/2hh 6yo mare who is half sister to the very successful pony owned by Courtney Herd "Sheffield Park Romeo". Sire: Kirreway Trident.  By Rotherwood Acrobat, Kirreway Trident has sired many successful show horses Dam: Vanguard Evita.

Timetable for Showing 2007

Willowcroft Regal Wish will not be seen in the show ring for a while as we eagerly await her first foal to Pendley Gold Cup which is expected in November 2007

Balledor Debut and Balledor Encore [pictured opposite] have begun a short season of showing in NSW.  At Castle Hill Spring Show, Balledor Encore won his yearling colt class and judge Alan Preston awarded him Reserve Champion Arabian Derivative Colt or Stallion.  This is an impressive start for this youngster's showing career.  Both horses are entered for the East Coast Arabian Championships in February at Sydney International Equestrian Centre and Sydney Royal in April 2007.

Progeny of Pendley Gold Cup

Canberra Royal - LJS Keeping Secret wins Champion Small Pony Hack, Novice Pony & Champion Led Part Bred Welsh.  Wellan Just Magic wins first Novice Pony not exceeding 12hh.

Toowoomba Royal - Rosedale Simona out of the beautiful import Colbeach Simone debuted in hand to win Champion Led Riding Pony Youngstock and then Supreme Led Riding Pony Exhibit.

Barastoc HOY, Victoria - Pendley Gold Cup daughter, Uhavta Royal Antique wins the Newcomer Small Pony OTY.

News from New Zealand is Amberleigh Gold Star, another Gold Cup daughter, was awarded  Youngstock Pony of the Year at the recent Grand National Horse and Pony of the Year Show.

Willowcroft Regal Winter, also by Urubula Regal Promise, wins Champion Galloway at both Canberra and Sydney Royal.

Willowcroft Pretty Woman, by Willowcroft Regal Emblem and owned by the Willowcroft Stud, wins Riding Pony Filly (2yrs & under) in her class and Supreme Champion Led Riding Pony at Sydney Royal
